Has anyone else received a letter regarding a class action against VW/Audi Smartkey replacement? The suit seems to imply price gouging based on the fact that we can only get our Smartkeys replaced atVW/Audi dealerships. I agree, I need a replacement and I'm looking at upwards of $300.00! For a key!

Any thoughts?

I got the same letter but didnt read it very hard yet, but yeah those keys are effing expensive. i would rather dorp that money on some performance parts.

 

I have an 03 and when i bought my car they didnt have the switch blade key just the service key. I wanted to get the switchblade key but it was $375 and to get it programed was another $125[:@]so I didnt feel i wanted one that badly I would rather get a snowboard rack of a giac chip for that kinda cash.
