Hi can you please help, i have a VW Sharan 1.9 TDI and it does give me some problems in the morning when the car is cold it does not change its gears untill it is a little bit driven and gets warmer. The fact is now that it works absolutely fine after aproxemetly 10-15mins and the gears change fine. Also it is probably useful to say that it shows me the Emission light and gives me a message saying ''Emission Workshop''. What can be the problem with this one?

 

DOES ANYONE KNOW OF A PERSON IN Michigan THAT CAN REPROGRAMM CHIPS FOR A 1988 Z28 TPI CAR????

 

I have exactly the same problems but in addition mine will stall occasionally when moving slowly. Like slowing down for a junction or in a car park. Have been told that its the gear selecta solenoids in the gearbox and a £550 to replace these.

Does this sound right.

 

If no one knows can anyone point me in the right direction
