I have a 1996 T4 2.5 MPFI Transporter. On 2 separate occasions the vehicle has just stalled whilst driving. The first time it happened it was early morning, not overly warm and had only driven approx 2 k's. It would stall and after waiting a couple of minutes it would start and drive for only a couple of 100 meters before stalling again. The mechanic replaced the fuel pump relay and it seemed to be ok.
The second time I had just travelled 500 km's with an average speed of 110 kmph when it stalled. It was just after lunch, about 38 degrees. The same thing happened again. We would wait a couple of minutes, drive the vehicle a few hundred meters and it would stall.
Any suggestions would be muchly appreciated.
