I have a Sharan 2004 which is probably the best vehicle I have owned however both keys have now lost their remote locking function, I have replaced batteries and tried to reprogram using instructions in the handbook but no success, has anyone else had this problem and is there an answer without buying new keys please as I hear these are very expensive. I have reprogrammed both of my keys successfully by asking Google how to, there are one or two ways, first one did not work but the second way did, I got my answer from Ilexa Onboard Diagnostics Forum from a member called Christo. Thanks Christo you have saved me £130 for each key from VW.

 

I recently purchased a replacement remote on e-bay, and was told that it is really easy to program. Before I go to a dealer to have this done, I was wondering if anyone has the programing instructions?
