Hi on you all
i have an wv bora from 99 bought it last year. It dident have a remote key but inte dident bother me but when i was going thrue some old papers on it i found that one of the previous owners bought a remote key.
I have been taking to the wv shop but they starting to talk about dissaseble the car to see if there is a reciever installed wich would cost me a lot of unnessesary money.
do someone know a simple way to test if i can have a remot controlled locking were is the controll module for it installed?

It is part of the central control module which is mounted on top of the steering column behind the instrument panel. There is alsoan antenna for the remote under the drivers sideA pillar trim. As far as testing it, I don't know but, keyless entry is standard equipment so you do have it.

 

Ok sounds great! then ill go to vag and by a programable key and try it.
