The built-in nav system in my 2013 Tiguan doesn't give me much notice about the next step to take. It seems to give me a quarter-mile heads up, which is fine on local roads, but just not enough on a 65-mph highway.

Is there any way to configure it to give me more notice about the upcoming step, or a way to have it always display the next step on the screen (right now, that only shows up at the quarter-mile mark)?

I don't have satnav in mine so I can't really advice you but it would be nice to see more details about your motor then I might be able to suggest something.
