OK, can anyone help on this VW forum as i have tried so many others and no one seems to know!

The window crank on the polo door clips onto a bolt (or lug) that resembles a TORX screwdriver. The end of this bolt has snapped and came off with the crank in my hand!

I can take off the panels and stuff, but can I replace this bolt or do I have to replce the entire mechanism at the back inside the door?
Please help as I need to take care of this really soon.
