Heres my problem. I have a 1997 VW polo 1.4cl, however, it has a mk2 golf 1.6i engine. Recently my rear engine mount collapsed. Causing the weight of the engine to snap my gear linkages. Being as im no mechanic i was wondering if anyone could help me. Should i get 1.6 golf mounts? or just replace them with standard 1.4 polo mounts? does anyone have a rough ideaa of how much i would be looking at to get these problems fixed using second hand parts? or should i get new parts? Can someone please help me!!!
