Hi,

So only bought this yesterday - didnt happen when i test drove the car - but when i press the start fob in - in order to start the car the boot pops up - have tried turning the key the other way and have tried both keys. One of the keys buttons do not work as the battery is dead but it still causes the boot to open when i press in the start key - also the key boot silver button has tiny dents in it - like something is pushing into it from inside the start stop ignition.

Has anyone had this - any idea what it could be ? any quick fixes etc?

What are you calling the start fob, where do you live? First job is change the battery in the key fob.
