hi, im new here. hopefully this forum is still active, right now it looks like a bunch or spam.
i have a lady friend with a vw passat with a v6. the car usually runs great but has a couple of check engin codes including Evaporative emission control system, large leak detected. and another about some coolant tempurature sensor circut range. the problem is whenever she gets gas the car has trouble starting. after starting the car wont idle and she has to stay on the gas for a few minutes. anyone know what the problem is? i can fix just about anything but i cant figure out whats wrong. we have already tried replacing the gas cap because most jeeps throw a similar code for a leaky gas cap and it didnt help. any advice would be greatly appreciated.
