Can someone tell me if it is possible to replace all the locks and ignition cylinder on a 1999 passat? I have a donor vehicle. Can I just remove all cylinders from one and install it in the other? Would the key work?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

You don't say where you live but they didn't fit immobilizers to US model until 2000 so the key barrels should swap over I would think.
