Once we get the car started and rev it up to 3000-3500rpms, we can sit there and keep it going as long as we sit there and constantly tap on the gas to keep it revved. But once we stop it will get below 1000 rpms and die. Any input on this.

 

What year is the car? What engine type? Auto or Stick?

 

mine did this and i cleaned the maf sensor and it went away make sure its plugged in and not corodded at all
