Hej! har en Passat variant R-line 2,0tdi 4m -10
Har en sak som stör mig något fruktansvärt mkt, man ska ju kunna se oil tempen i färddatan men kan ej se detta det blir bara 3 streck och ingen temp.
Har haft inne bilen hos volkswagen men dom kunde inte hitta felet. Sa att jag kanske inte hade sen funktionen, men då borde den ju inte visa meny oil temp heller?
Någon som känner till detta?

well i try in english.
In my boardcomputer MFI i have the option Oiltemp, but i cant´t se any temp just 3 of thes ---. Its not change even when i drive a longer drive.
The workshop could´t find any wrong in´the computer, but i sure that if i have the option in the MFI, So would i see the temp, so something is wrong but what.
I have now spoken whit the Volkswagen service center and they investegate the problem.

 

You don't say how old this Passat is?

The oil temp doesn't show on mine until it reaches 50 deg C then it shows from 50 upwards, it just a qwerk of the system.

 

It´s 2010 year modell.
The oil temp would bi higer than 50c when i drive for about an houer?

 

Well it should show the oil temp after it reaches 50 deg C so take it back to the dealer to get it fixed.

You could put your car spec in your signature then users won't need to ask?
