Default RE: oil indicator

Hello
Is the light the oil level light if so it could be the bonnet switch. When the level sensor detects the level is low it will turn the lignt on, when you open and close the bonnet it will turn the light out but if the switch is faulty or water has got into the caron the n/s corroding the wiring on the A pillar. To check it lock the car with the bonnet open if the indicators flash then the alarm thinks the bonnet is still shut. if it is ok they will only flash when you close it
Hope this helps Chris

we run into this problem all the time... Passets are very sensitive if you don't change ur oil every 5k miles or put the right oil in it your pick up tube in ur oil pan with get clogged causing your oil warning light to come on... its a big job actually i just did one today u have to drop the motor mounts and the front one drop the tranny mounts drop the sub frame just to access the oil pan...
