Oil Dipstick
Hi having problems my Oil dipstick has snapped at the top where it connects to the pipe. problem I have is how can I get a new one I got one from Ebay and it is not correct even though the model number was on the list. What I need is one with a very long handle and that is the issue I am having.
It is for a 1.8 20V engine V reg there is lots of pipework in the way hence why it has such a long handle. Can anyone tell me the product code I need please.
I still have a issue with removing the broken part of the pipe but going to see if my 9 year old can get his hand in the gap to try and remove that (when car is cold)
Thanks Paul

Yeah that's very popular problem on this cars.
If you have inline 1.8t you can remove driver side headlight and intercooler to throttle hose. will give you enough space to work around.
It has o ring seal make sure housing is completely clean before install the new one !
