My 2000 Passat started very ruff the other day. I stopped the engine and it seemed to run okay after it warmed up. I just put a scanner on it and got 3 codes P0300, P0301, P0302. The manual says they are misfire detected codes. Car seems to be running fine now. My question is it safe to erase the codes? Our is it recommended to take to shop? I would really appreicate anybodys help and thank you in advance for your help.

 

Replacethe spark plugs if they have over 90,000 miles, they should be platinum, write the codes down then clear them, what model passat do you have
