Hey....my dealer just replaced my brakelight switch as part of a recall, 2004 Passat...does anyone know a. If the switch can be adjusted? and b. How to do it.

It seems that the new switch makes the brakelights come on later (you have to press harder) than the old one. I do know what the switch looks like and how it is mounted, but don't want to break it if possible!
