Default advise on buying 2005 passat

My friend works at a dealership and got an 05 passat on trade. He will sell it to me for 6k. It is a 1.8T 5 speed. looks to have most all the options on it with 105k miles. Looks like a really nice car Im just woundering is that a good price and what are some problems I might want to look for or try to find out if something has been fixed. Its all stock, how many miles do you think I could get out of this car? What kind of maint does it require as far as timing belt or things of that nature. Are these good reliable cars?

Well I don't know where you live so is that $6k or £6k as I can't find a listing for an 05 Passat 1.8T.

Personally it doesn't sound a good deal for a 105k miles motor.

Well if you like it and you think you getting a good deal then go for it.

If it was a TDI I could show you the buyers guides with problems they have.

Volkwegan passat is one of the best car model by volkwegan car manufacturer that comes with some awesome driving features and technology. It's one good choice for owning a reliable car according to me.
