Im looking into buying a 1992 Passat GL....the head gasket was just replaced, but am told that while driving the car will rev up like it popped out of gear, but it is still in gear. When foot is taken off gas pedal and put back on it goes fine again. I was wondering if anyone would have an idea of what the problem could be? Id appreciate any suggestions or ideas you have...Thanks
