Hello. I purchased a used PCM for my 2013 Passat and need to have it programmed. The key remote works for the doors and trunk release but I’m guessing there’s more that it operates. I called one auto repair shop and was told they could program it but they’ve been unsuccessful with used PCM units. They don’t want me to pay and it not work properly which I respect that. It was recommended I go to Volkswagen and buy a new one which is going to be a small fortune. Has anyone replaced a PCM and if so, did you buy used or through VW? I’m going to call them now and get an idea of what they’re saying.
