2010 VW CC having a Problem....No good wiring diagrams
Hi I have a 2010 VW CC and noticed that when I take the key out the ignition and close the doors and lock the car up, the needles for the tach and the odometer area all stay lit up. This is not the time and mileage, but the whole information system stays lit as well, and its killing my battery. Was wondering if it was a ignition switch problem or something else. VW wiring diagrams on all data are terrible, so i was wondering if someone has ran into this problem before. I just don't wanna shove parts at the car need the right diagnosis. Any help would be appreciated.

You con Google for wiring diagrams or you can find someone with ElsaWin to make them.
You can join https://erwin.volkswagen.de/erwin/showHome.do for a day and save all diagrams as a PDF file. You need to get your motor scanned (preferably with VAG-COM\VCDS) for any error codes logged in the ecu and post them, that will save a lot of guessing and check systems out. |

You said to have codes read. There are no codes in any of the modules. But when the car is off key out,and doors locked with fob, the needles in the cluster stay lit up. The needles for gas, temp, tach, speedometer bulb is burned out. Is that normal or is the cluster bad.
