Default 2000 Passat wiper/park issue

I just replaced wiper motor because wipers parked at top of windhield. They worked, and delayed fine, but stopped in the wrong spot. I thought it was probably the park sensor, so I got one from a junker. The replacement motor does the same. I am now thinking some other switch or module comes in to play now. This is a wagon, and the rear wiper gives me no issue. Any help appreciated. Thanks.

If you have replaced the motor and it is still doing the same thing I would look at the harness for the motor and make sure that there is no corrosion going across any terminals that may be causing the motor to short between the lower 'park' limit and the upper limit. I would also go on like a auto zone or advance auto wed site and see if the pin location schematic is listed for the harness on the wiper motor. This way if you know how to use a electrical test meter you can check for power on the terminals when it is in a certian position. If this doesn't work then it may be a faulty relay. Hope this helps.
