I went out two days ago, jumped in mycar (2000 PassatV6 2.8)started it up and I heard a kind of a metalto metal grinding noise, I thought that maybe the oil hadn't got to the top of the engine yet. Turns out this was not the case, thenoisesounded like it was coming fromthe pulley of the power steering pump, so I changed the power steering pump thinking that was the problem, but it wasn't. The noise is loud it and it's comingfromthe front of the engine. Can some one please advise.
