I am having a problem with the vehicle shifting gears. Its an automatic. I am getting poor gas milage and see that i am running high rpms when on the highway. I have to give it a good push on the gas pedal to get it to change gears. The vehicle has 150000 miles on it. Any help. Thanks

 

I would try draining the tranny fluid and adding new. I did it to my last Passat at 145k and had no problems. I didn’t have prior problems tho.
