Hi guys, I need help, there is a weird howling noise coming from the hood of my car, usually in the mornings when i first turned the engine on it made that sound but after warming it up it would go away, but now it actually stays on the whole time, also when i first turn it on it kind of wants to turn off but i put it on park and it acts normal again, please help i have taken it to many mechanics and nobody can seem to figure it out, thanks.

 

What engine and trans do you have?

 

1.8turbo and its an automatic, well tektroniks i think it is called, when its an automatic and a stickshift.

 

Without hearing a noise it's hard to diagnose. The only thing I can think of is the turbo and the air hoses connected to it. It seems like a good mechanic would check that but, give it a listen.
