I'm new to the forum and Jettas! I just got my new Jetta SE today and I'm very excited, I love it!
I do have a Q re: extended 7 year warranty. I've been reading around and it seemed that I may have paid too much for it? $2789 plus $ 788 for Perma Plate.
1- I only drive between 3 - 5000 miles/year, do I really need it?
2- in your experience with new cars ( it's the first time I buy a new car) how many chances are of getting the warranty worthwile in my case, w/ such low mileage/yr/
3- I have a feeling I should cancel it, but will like some feedback if possible.
4- and what about the Perma Plate, ?
