Default 2000 Jetta VR6 GLS Camshaft Position Sensor?

I am about to purchase this car but it does not run at the moment. I am getting these codes.

P1393 Manufacture Control Ignition System or Misfire
P1394 ""
P1395 ""
P0343 Camshaft Position Sensor A-Bank 1 Circuit High Input

The Plugs, Wires, Coil Pack were replaced from the previous owner. The only time it even tries to start is when the peddle is to the floor and it is missing like crazy almost barely running. I am assuming that it is because of the camshaft position sensor. There is also a clinking sound from the timing chain possibly but could be something else due to the misfires. I pulled the CPS out and it was caked with thick dried up oil I cleaned it with a rag and tried again with no luck. What am I looking at here?

The car has 120,000 miles on it.

Some one help me please I would like to own this!

I was just researching and found that

P1393 Ignition Coil Power Output Stage 1 Malfunction
P1394 Ignition Coil Power Output Stage 2 Malfunction
P1395 Ignition Coil Power Output Stage 3 Malfunction

It's probably that camshaft sensor... The ECM is not getting no readings from it.. Timing will cause bad idling too.. What type of engine is it?
