Default Vagcom Cable select

Would this cable work for programming the CCM in a 2002 Jetta Wagon using Vagcom 4xx software? I am new to this. Does anyone see any reason why this would not work?

Well, it's from China. It would work as far as going from your laptop to the data port but you will have to buy a $400-$500 program from Rosstech. The software they send you is a generic OBDII system (universal). I would try what I said in my last post to you. Reprogram your keys by my directions in general tech.

Thank you, but resetting the FOB does nothing.

It's not $400-500 (way too high) for the software license.

The software is a free download, I paid Ross-Tech $249 for the "interface" which is what they call the wire. $262 with Fedex Ground. I don't think the Software will work w/o their own interface tho as it has a license code in or on it that tells the program to work.
