Default Turning Off Oil Service Light 2017 Jetta

There are two buttons on dash. Press and hold the dash button on right that resets trip. When numbers go to 0 turn ignition on, without starting. Let go of reset button when the question comes up "Do You Want To Reset Oil Service Light." Use the "OK" button on steering wheel to select "YES." DONE.

Start car and check your success.

That will depend on which MFD you have HighLine, MidLine, LowLine. I reset mine in the MFD HighLine as its quicker than plugging in VCDS to reset SRI.

Just trying to assist others on a very quick method to reset oil service light on a 2017 Jetta. Takes 15 seconds.

That procedure is the same on a lot of VW's which you can Google. YouTube shows these video's.
