Hi! new member here. Just recently picked up a 2003 Jetta for my son. Came with a cooked clutch so we spent last weekend pulling the transmission and changing the clutch. All went well. I had noticed a lack of coolant when we bought the car, so I filled the reservoir, let it idle, topped it off. put a full 1.5 L of coolant and water in the system. Backed the car up to test clutch, then rolled forward to test. All seemed good except the huge puddle I left behind! Can anyone identify this hose or line? NAPA has no clue what it is from the picture and I'm a Chevy guy at heart!!!
Thanks in advance for any assistance. Rust says it all. Leaking like a sieve. It's shot, but what is it? Where did it go???? Runs all the way over here then up into the void...
Keith,
I will gladly post in "INTRODUCTIONS", however if you read my post you reply does not address my issue. The auto parts stores don't know what this tube is and none of the VW diagrams I have accessed show it, so I have no idea what to order. I'm asking for an IDENTIFICATION of the hose so I can get a new one.

I've read the same thread with the same pictures on another VW forum I look after. Have you posted the same question somewhere else?
I'm offended by your reply. I came here looking for help and you've done nothing but attack and harass me. What is your problem? And no, I don't think I posted anywhere else, and even if I did it's none of your business.
