I have an automatic 96 jetta and i don't know whats wrong with the transsmison,
when it goes into 2 gear it makes this noise and you have a feel the car is
in neutral, it also does the same thing when it goes into 3 gear but after
that it runs well. I changed the oil, filter and gasket but it didn't help
anyone know what it could be.

Sounds like it's slipping...might need to bring it in to a trans shop for a check up.
