Hello All,

When I start my Jetta 2.0T and run it cold, I hear a ticking noise that sounds like its coming from the trunk when I come to a stop light. After the car warms up its gone.

Any idea what it could be?

Weird Ticking noise from rear of trunk.

 

I don't want to sound condescending, but are you sure it's coming from the trunk? If it's coming from the rear, I suspect you might have a broken exhaust hanger, for some reason when the metal warms up, it doesn't sound as 'tingy' when it vibrates...if that makes any sense?
