Strange noise
On my 2001 jetta VR6, about 2500 RPM there is a clattering noise (kinds sounded like lifter noise but it suddenly stops at 4000 RPM. I also noticed that as soon as I let off the throttle it quits. Someone told me there is some sort of valve in the intake (to increase performance) that can cause this. Can it be disabled or easily fixed?
