Default Steering wheel knock

I just had my

inner tie rod replaced,
rear wheel bearings replaced,
2 new tires
and front end alignment

but my steering wheel still makes a knocking feel. especially if i'm sitting still and move it side to side. and if i'm slowing down i can feel it in the steering wheel and brake pedal at the same time. It runs a lot smoother than befor but it still does that. It's a '98 Jetta. Anyone have any ideas of what it could be.

Are you sure something isn't hitting the steering assembly? Might wann have another shop take a look at it, or just check yourself, that's my best advice.

Lube you intermediate shaft.... the one that comes from the steering column down to a u-joint into the another shaft into a ujoint and then into the intermediate shaft...

Just a try,

It fixes your problem on toyota all day long at work....

also use a generous amount of grease (TONS) rock it side to side when your all good n tite... it should go away, if it is the same thing...

Carfull or your wheel will be off-centered...
