Replacement Radio Options for my 2005.5 Mk5 Jetta TDI
I purchased a Parrot mki9200 to allow my phone to play music wirelessly. I went with this option over a complete head unit replacement because of the lower cost. When I pulled the old RCD300 radio out I dropped it destroying it completely. Now I'm not sure if I should get another RCD300 or just sell the Parrot Bluetooth and buy a VW head unit that has Bluetooth capability.
I have been searching all the VW forums about replacement options but I haven't found a thread that lists all of them in one place. I know there are some issues battery drain issues with certain units like the RCD 510. Is this the case for all units? Are there any other issues I should be concerned about?
