I have a 2011 Jetta Base come without the remote key fob. Can I get one at the dealer and how much it would cost?

So you've bought a newish 2011 Jetta and they didn't give you the spare key or the valet key how come?

Its going to be expensive to get a spare key and get it programmed from a dealer. I hope you got a good discount for this car with no spare key?

 

It is a base strip down model, even lower than the S so it doesn't equip with the remote I guess.

 

I would have thought that every VW model today has a remote key.
