Putting Jetta in Neutral??

Putting Jetta in Neutral??
My 2002 VW Jetta won't start, so I need to jump it. The problem is that it is parked in my drive way and I can't access the battery without moving the car. But I can't get the car in neutral so I can push it down the drive way. What do I do??
