Hi guys, I know its a Bora but I thought it would be similar to a Golf so i've posted here.

My cars locking system is going crazy. Its a 1999 model and there is no alarm or remote locking. The car tries to lock itself constantly whilst I am driving but one of the doors hardly ever locks so they all unlock again and keep trying until they have all locked which sometimes takes forever. When I leave the car and try and lock it from the drivers door, the passenger door mostly doesnt lock and I have to keep unlocking and trying until it does. Sometimes it just locks itself and I have locked the keys in the car before because of this.

What may be the cause of the problem? any suggestions greatly appreciated as this is driving me nuts!
