check out my specs in my sig. I would also go with a DC Racing Header...or anywhere else but I think I found MAYBE 2 places you can get them? Anyways as far as chips...go with GIAC or even Unitronics(Swedish brand..lol) cause APR is overpriced and overrated. Also, this one is hit or miss, you have to dyno b4 and after but an underdrive crank pulley. You can get all your pulleys done, but I just have the one. The reason I say dyno is because on my car I got lucky and raised like 3-4 HP, but on my buddy's he lost like 1-2 HP...it depends. Anyways, if you don't EVER plan on turbo the VR6, go with a good cam. Get lifters and either Schrick or Kent cams, very strong and durable. AND THEN...lol...ligthweight flywheel helps too with a good Sachs or ACT clutch. The Jetta uses a dual mass flywheel, which means there are 2 flywheels rotating and transferring power and etc....get upgrade to 1 flywheel and good clutch, stage 1 if you want to cruise, stage 2 if you want to race 50% of the time, and stage 3 lightweight flywheel and clutch kit if you race 100% of the time, which is rated at 300+HP. Anyways, get a Eurotuner mag and read some of the articles and get involved in both of our forums. You will learn alot!!

Ya i think ima go with GIAC, now stuff like the pullys, headers and cams without having a shop it would have to be pro. installed right? or is it actully easy to do on your own? Im pretty know to Euro cars all iv had in the past have been older GM's easy to work on.

you can do things without a shop, but labor really isn't that expensive. I'm sure there's some place you can take it to DIY, but yea parts aren't that hard to install.

ok so seats??? We were talking about engine performance. Anyways these cars are a little tricky, friend of mine put OBX headers on it didn't gain him anything, it was weird, but from different people they said it was normal, headers don't add any HP. I put headers on a V8 and a huge difference. I notice that this car or motor is tempramental.

you would know that j. ha ha just jokin. the only way I would take them out would involve the heist of the century. stealing one of the front mount bike racks off an rtd bus and putting it in where the seats used to be so I could get two bikes in there super easy. cause right now 2 bikes in the trunk of a jetta is a pain in the rump. and besides swedish, how are you gonna film your "scean's" (please refer to the rumor concept page or ********* if you don't get the joke) if you take the best place for it out of the car??
