Not a typical window issue...
I've got a 2000 Jetta VR6 loaded with about 60k. The other day I unlocked the driver’s side door via remote and all the windows went down. No matter how I unlock the door, with key or remote, all the windows go down.
I've seen people mention broken wires but everything seems to be intact. I haven't broken down the doors yet to check it out.
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated cause it’s a bummer in the rain....

UPDATE...
I've tried a few things. I checked all the wires leading to the door and none seem to be broken. I pulled the panel off and everything appears to be in order. It is definetly something in the drivers door cause when I unplug the harness to the regulator the problem goes away.
I read a few things about the lock cylinder or latch might be the cause. I did pull the lock and it looks ok. The latch looks like a PITA to get off. Anyone have instruction on pulling the latch?
