hey im a car modder from ireland. Although im not new to big modyfying i am new to VW. I have bought a Jetta 1.6 Diesal. However my intention is to strip it down to a chassis and rebuild it to my spec. Currently I have a turbo'd civic type r, and a supercharged merc 190e puttin out about 400hp. What is the best engine for my jetta??? preferably 6cyclinder... all and any advice welcome!!!!

 

A VR6 Turbo.....That's what I would ultimately like to have resting between the fenders of my jetta.......it would be a great place to start.......plus up the cam and some other mods......killer horsepower in no time.......

 

not sure what you got over there, but the passat has a 3.6 vr6 now that would be sick
