Hello fellow Volkswagen drivers and enthusiasts. Last year I purchased a 2000 2.0L Jetta GLS with 66k miles on it and it has been burning oil a lot I constantly replaced it and just had an incident where a plume of blue smoke came out of my exhaust. So I had it looked at by the dealer and he said I need a new engine because of leaking seals and the cost of repair is more than just replacement. Now I am NOT a mechanic and do not know if that is true what should I do and if I wanted could I fit a 1.8T or other more powerful engines in it as an upgrade to the 2.slow?
