Mirror heated problem

I have a 2010 Jetta Limited that has a side heated mirror glass that has been stained beyond repair. I need to replace the glass only, is this possible without replacing the whole side mirror assembly?

Well on the Golf you can replace just the mirror glass.

If its faulty take it back under warranty.
