Default Mechanic in the Twin Cities?

Hi, I'm a newbie to this site, but it is something I'd hoped was out there and I'll definitely be back. I've got a question I've wanted to ask to impartial VW people.

I've got a 96 Jetta with the 2.0 L 4 cylinder. I am told that the timing belt is recommended to be replaced at 80k while my Jetta has 115K on it. I know that this engine is a non-interference engine and it will not ruin it if I snap one. However I would like to get it replaced if this is a real issue so that I could feel good about long trips. Does anyone know of a good, independant, reasonable, trustworthy VW specialist in the twin cities? What do most people do? Is it one of those things that I most likely will get away with until 160k or am i on borrowed time right now?
