just bought a 97 2.0L jetta TREK, few questions
ok this jetta was just purchased for my girlfriend and i have a few random questions to ask the people that would know the answers to them.
1) how do i replace the steering wheel on it?
2) what does TREK mean aside from the sweet seats?
3) the clutch is super easy to push in, could this be bad? (cable clutch)
4) shifter is offset to the right and i can push it really hard left into reverse without having to push down, what could either of those 2 things mean?
5) around 133k miles are these motors known to do anything funky? as of right now it seems to drive really good but i have only driven it for 20 some miles.
thanks for any and all help!

For the first code.. bank 1 running rich. There might be a vacuum leak somewhere. You should check all your vacuum hoses and intake boot, just for air leaks. But, try to the other thing first of cleaning the trottle body and the air mass meter.
The other code could be that ur o2 sensor is going bad. I got that code once on my jetta, ended up replacing it and did cured the problem. Do you have a multimeter?? You can check the electrical part to see if the o2 sensor is good or bad.
