Default Indicator Light

Hello All:

I have a 2004 Jetta and would like to know if there is any where to view the manual online? An indicator light came on tonight and I have no idea what it could be for (don't have my manual). It's a circle with 3 little hash marks on each side. I'm wondering if it's safe to drive the car until I can take it to be looked at on Monday.

yea brakes need replacement. I believe your brakes have a wire attached to them that when they get worn the wire is cut & signals you with that light letting you know. thats how mine is.
