Default Headlight?

I have a 1999 Jetta (newer style) It has just the basic headlights, no foglights or anything (within the headlights or on the bumper). I was having problems with my lights and the wires. I bought new wiring harnesses for the headlight bulbs because there was a loose wire that was causing it to go in and out.

Well not to my questions. I bought new headlights completely, and on the website it says, "plug and play". Well my car does not have fog lights now, will this work or could I just wire them to a switch on my dash?

You need to go to ecstuning.com and get the fog light wiring harness and european light switch.
