Hello fellow enthusiasts, im 18 years old and i am ready to purchase my first vehicle. I have my mind set on a volkswagen jetta 2.5 4D . i love the simplicity and quality that comes along with a VW. im sure i want this to be my first car.

im thinking of one from the years 2006-2008 , around 60-80k miles in primarily black or white, leather/leatherette is a must and all other options arent necessary.

i need some expert advice ! how much would something like this run me. i live in NYC, USA.

Is this a good choice as a first car? it will be primarily a commuter car for college.

will something like this depreciate a lot and will it last me at least 4 years ?
