I love my "91 Jetta we just purchased,except for the stain I keep getting on my pants from the surface of the console area. If I brush against it getting in or out of the car, I get small black sticky smudges of something on my clothing. The stuff does'nt come off on my hands if I rub it but just brushing a napkin lightly across the surface leaves smudges on the paper. We have used Armor-All on the area, but it didn't help. I have little black smudgeson exactly the same spot on about every pair of pants I own now. Any suggestions to resolve this?
