2005 Jetta. Just recently when I flip the turn signal on to go right, the turn signal flashes really fast. The left is fine. Doesn't do it all the time though. Any ideas? Thanks.

 

turn signal light is out on one side or the other. when you have about 30 seconds to spare sometime, step out of the car with turn signal on for the right and check both front and rear turn signal lights. one of them will be out.

 

That's it....thanks. I have been having some problems with the rear tail lights, both sides. I don't know if there is a bad connection in the light socket or what. Changed the bulbs but when I would snap the plastic bulb plate.....{ I guess that's what you call it where all the bulbs screw into } into place, sometimes the light would go out. Is this an issue with this set up? Thanks.

 

i dont know if it is a problem or not. when i changed out a rear light in my fiance's jetta, i managed to break a second light before it all closed up. just be slow and careful with it when putting it back into place, and it should be okay. if it feels like it doesn't want to go in, don't force it. try different angles of approach to it.
